Over on Bah! Humbug! this week our friends have challenged us to use buttons and bows, now for me that combination doesn't conjure up Christmas but not to be beaten I have had a bit of a play and here is the result.
The snowman I bought in January when Sir Stampalot had a sale, as soon as I saw him he was sold! I have use Promarkers and some extra fine glitter which I'm not sure shows very well but it does make a difference. The buttons on his belly are covering four drawn ones but they were too big to use four. The backing paper is pale green but looks white because of the light and finally I have tied a big red bow around the bottom. There isn't a greeting on it at the moment because I can't find the one I want to use so it will stay bare until the stamp shows up again.
I can see why you fell in love with him Jenny, he is a gorgeous stamp. Beautifully coloured and fab buttons. Love the punched border and lovely ribbon.

BAD BAD BAD Jenny - can't believe you got that stamp!!!!! It was on my order but I eventually got an email saying it was out of stock -grrrrrrrr think I ordered before you too!! On the plus side I was asked to choose again and I choose two in case one out of stock and the wonderful lady at the other end sent me both so I reckon you are forgiven. However, don't do it again!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously though it's a gorgeous card Jenny as always and we're still friends - although it was close for a minute when I saw your card! All's fair in love war and rubber stamp sales - LOL.
