It's a miserable wet Sunday afternoon and I couldn't get myself going at all so decided to play with DSA2 , I have just ordered the new Craft Artist that has recently been released so thought I'd have a little play and see how these things work.
Over on Bah! Humbug! this week the challenge is to use doileys so I did a bit of hunting and found this one in one of the wintery themed kits. I have to say I really enjoyed playing with all the different layers and embellishments but could have probably made three cards in the time it took me to get something I found passable. I was going to print off an extra snowman and tree to decoupage onto the card but decided to just leave it flat and it will be better for posting. I have gone over the wording with glitter and even made an insert with the same backing paper. It has been a lovely way to waste time and I will be making more cards this way but it won't replace my love of playing with paper and inks.
Sorry about the flare from the light but it is way to dismal to take a picture without it.
Now how come I couldn't find that doily. I thought I had all the Christmas ones. It's brilliant and looks really dimensional.

ReplyDeleteWell Jenny, if you hadn't told us it was flat I would never have guessed - it looks 3 dimensional. It's amazing what effects can be created with graphics programmes. It's super. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
