Less is more - Three Squares - Take Two

OK I have to admit that I do like to do things right if that is possible, I know I don't always achieve it so will go back and start again. Earlier I made a card for the Less is More challenge this week which is three squares, now I wasn't 100% happy with it and most of the comments echo my thoughts.

I decided to have another go but have done this one a little differently, once again the sentiment is computer generated but so are the squares. I found it a lot easier to get the squares in the right place using the pc, once I had printed the base out I used a stamp that I've had for quite a few years, I then coloured the flowers with promarkers. Now once again I'm not 100% happy as I could have placed the 1st flower a little further to the left  but I feel it's a great improvement on my earlier attempt.

  1. I have to say I do prefer this card to your previous one, but what really pleases me is to see the dedication to getting things right which seems to be prevailing amongst our number! I think it's wonderful!
We shall become the most proficient lot!
This card looks lovely and fresh with the colours you chose.
    See you next time!

  8. I love this one too Jenny, I find it difficult to choose between the two of them. The only thing wrong with the first one was the sentiment placement - which wasn't wrong exactly. And this one the flower placement - again not obvious unless you are looking for it.

  9. Lovely! Like the stamp you've used here and will deffo have to give the placing on the PC a try instead of juggling trying to get things absolutely straight by myself!

  10. A nice 'clean' card! we really are our our own worst critics, especially with these CAS cards - not easy.

  13. Looks fine to me and is nice and simple. Don't get too picky because you will stifle your creativity and you can't get ointment for that!
