Use Silver - Rainbow Lady's Challenge

Over on Rainbow Lady's challenge this week we were told to use silver, inspired by Cynthia and Geoff's silver wedding anniversary(Happy Anniversary to you both), I misunderstood the wording and thought we should just use silver which I have done but what I should have done was make an anniversary card. So if you fancy joining us don't do what I did but make an anniversary card with silver on it.
Anyway on to the card, the background was done with Distress Inks and splashed with water to make it look like it's snowing, the stamps are all from a set from Chocolate Baroque stamped with versamark and embossed with silver then coloured with Promarkers and sprinkled with copious amounts of glitter. The tree in the front has some peel off bits on it to make it look like it had shiny baubles on it.
Please pop over and have a look at the challenge and have a go, we love to come and visit you.

  4. It's a stunning card Jenny, and I must admit that the way the challenge is worded, I took the anniversary part to be an optional extra so I would probably have made the same mistake. I love how you've added the silver to this - it's there yet discreet. :)

  5. Really gorgeous, Jenny. You could duplicate this one with Photoshop and remove the Merry Christmas and just add Happy Anniversary and voila! total compliance. But leave it alone. It is just beautifully made.
