Welcome to my blogland friends

Sunday 25 March 2012

Hello everyone from a beautiful sunny Wigan, I have been up since the crack of dawn and only just remembered that I didn't schedule my post for CD Sunday this week.

Anyway our theme this week is Spring has Sprung and this was chosen by Jocelyn, you must go and check out the DT ideas there are some great things this week.

For my card I decided to use an idea I had for my craft class, this week I was showing them how to use around the page punches so decided to incorporate my DT card, I have used an image and matching backing paper from JNM 11 by Joanna Sheen, I think of spring when I see yellow as the daffodil is usually the one thing that finally persuades us winter is over and spring is here.

I hope you can come and join us and let us share your ideas for spring.

  1. This is such a pretty card, I love your punched elements, I need someone to show me how to use around the page punches, I can never get mine lined up properly.

  3. I wondered why I couldn't find your card earlier Jenny! It's very stylish - I'm going through a period of using MS PATP punches all the time! I have this style, I think it's called Art Deco Caning.

  4. Spring definitely sprung today. It was gorgeous. Not much yellow in this garden though - have to put that right for next year. Gorgeous card with a lovely image and the border punch is fab. Not seen that one.
