CD Sunday challenge - Beautiful blue

Here is my card for the new challenge over on CD Sunday, this week it's Beautiful Blue.

I had a day out with a friend and we went over to the Kanban factory outlet, this wasn't as successful as I had hoped as the room where you fill a box hadn't been restocked for a couple of months so had very little in it, this was due to them expecting a refurbishment which had been postponed.  I did manage to buy a few bits and pieces and one of the things I bought was a box of 100 cards and envelopes, I was pleased with the quality and when I found this shape of card thought it a little unusual and decided to use it for my Christmas cards. This card is made with some backing paper from the Mulberry Wood cd from Crafters Companion and a House Mouse stamp bought from Joanna Sheen. I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and coloured the background with Pan Pastels which blend beautifully.

I do hope you pop over to the CD Sunday page and join in with us, the rest of the team have come up with some beautiful samples this week.

  1. 100 cards should keep you going for a bit Jenny.Hope the next time you make it to Kanban they've just re-stocked. Love your little mice stamp and the sentiment on this fab shaped card.

  2. Love the card shape Jenny, good to see you managed to find something at Kanban.
The papers are super and you have coloured the image beautifully.

  3. I love it and it's shape, love the image you have used and the sentiment, you could turn the card the other way and make a rocker card too. sue-b xx
